Free Spanish Lesson # 3

YOUR FREE SPANISH LESSON #3

Hola a todos and welcome to your third free Spanish lesson. My name is Ingrid Jackson and I am your Spanish instructor.

Lesson #3 Summary:

  • Today we will go over last week’s lesson.
  • We will also review last week’s homework.
  • You will learn that in Spanish, when it comes to punctuation, there is a simple rule to follow. If you are creating an exclamatory sentence or a question, the exclamation points and question marks will always be used at the beginning, as well as at the end of the sentence.By the end of today’s lesson, you will know when and how to use those marks and points.
(The video above  will show you some examples)
  • This week, as every week, you will learn new words. However, this week you will start forming sentences with those words!

    Homework:

  • To do your homework, you are going to have to do a bit moreresearch than you have done before, but it should be fun and you will learn a lot!

I am going to give you a few words and I want you to build four short sentences with those words. The sentences should be in the form of an exclamatory sentence or a question. Such as ¡Cállate, por favor! Of course to do that, you will have to first find the meaning of those words.

The combination of sentences should be even, that is, two questions and two exclamations.

Feel free to get creative, a great thing that happens when we make mistakes is that we walk away having learnt something!

This week’s homework will also give you the opportunity to use some of the things that you have learnt during the last two lessons!

And here are this week’s words.

    1. Qué

    2. Está

    3. La

    4. Ventana

    5. llamó

    6. El

    7. Dormido

    8. Hora

    9. Abierta

    10. Perro

    11. es

Good luck, see you next week! :-)
